Kerry-Anne is originally from London but has moved over to Dublin as the new manager of Back Street Dance studios.
Kerry started dancing from a very young age which led to dancing in Panto’s from the age of 5 and upwards.
Kerry started her dance education at The Brit school following onto a Bachelor’s Dance degree in dance at Kingston university. Kingston offered the opportunity for Kerry to travel to the USA to do part of her degree and perform in various cities.
Whilst studying for a degree Kerry also taught for inclusive dance companies that helped kids with learning and physical difficulties to participate in dance classes and later on the confidence to participate in dance festivals around London.
After graduating Kerry moved to Shanghai to teach and run the dance shows for a local company. This combined Kerry's love for teaching and production as it allowed her to gain experience pulling together big dance productions.
Kerry then moved onto teaching for the Shanghai City Ballet. This was an amazing experience bringing together all different nationalities and finding a way to teach with a universal technique. She put kids through the RAD Ballet exams successfully and gained skills helping to run the large scale shows that the company put on each year.
Dance has always been an important part of Kerry's life and she is now starting a new chapter here in Dublin combining all the things she loves about the industry!
